GUIDED TRIPS
THE SALTY SLOTH CHARTERS EXPERIENCE
Experience the diverse and dynamic fishing opportunities in the Lowcountry of Charleston, SC, with skiff guide trip options that capitalize on the region’s distinctive 5 to 7-foot tide swings every 6 hours. This tidal fluctuation creates an ever-changing environment, offering a thrilling range of fishing experiences. During low tide, embark on the exhilarating challenge of stalking belly crawling redfish in the exposed shallows. As the tide rises, shift your focus to the flood tides, where the waters cover the grassy areas, providing a unique opportunity to spot and pursue tailing redfish. The seasonal variations add an extra layer to the adventure, ensuring a year-round appeal for anglers seeking an immersive and dynamic fishing experience in the captivating waters of Charleston’s South Carolina.

“I’ve fished with guides all over, but Salty Sloth Charters is on another level. Kyle put me right on the fish—tarpon, redfish, and even a surprise tripletail. He doesn’t just take you fishing, he teaches you how to read the water, make the right cast, and capitalize on every shot. Already booking my next trip.” — Mark D.

“Visiting Charleston for the first time and booking Salty Sloth Charters was the best decision we made. We got the perfect mix of local culture, great fishing, and good laughs. Kyle shared so many stories and made us feel like part of the crew. It wasn’t just a charter—it was the highlight of our vacation.”

“Bad ass is the only way to describe this experience. Been fishing with this guy since he was a grom, and every trip just gets better. He knows the water, the fish, and how to make a day on the boat feel like a proper adventure. Can’t recommend him enough.”
