THE CAPTAIN

Captain Kyle Morella, a native of South Carolina, developed a passion for fishing in the Blue Ridge Mountains as a child. His love for the sport expanded through traveling to many locations to fly fish. The Carolina Lowcountry became his focal point, particularly in shallow water fly fishing for redfish. During his earlier years, Kyle honed his skills in the Lowcountry of Charleston and in the Forgotten coast of the Florida Panhandle. Post-college, he split time guiding in Charleston for redfish and the Florida Panhandle chasing tarpon. While adept in light tackle, Kyle’s true obsession lies in fly fishing, finding joy in the thrill of stalking and presenting a fly to catch fish in shallow waters.
